DIGITAL FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY (ACF3003)
· SANYO DIGITAL CAMERA
· 12.1 MEGAPIXELS (3X OPTICAL ZOOM)
· NIGHT PORTRAIT (Subject with night background)
· FLASH AND NO-FLASH PHOTGRAPHY
What have you done?
· Night Photography (dusk)
· Available light or Flash
· Pictures of night scenes - with no moving objects
· Choose a subject: Braybrook, Kealba Quarry, My Home & Street, Watergardens(StationStreet) & Docklands
· Chose to take the photos at Dusk because there is a nice poise between the afterglows from the sun.
· Synthetic lights of street lamps, office buildings and car lights etc.
Why have you done it?
· Night Portrait: Allows the shutter to stay open long enough to properly expose the setting/surroundings.
· I experimented with flash and no flash. The flash is good when you want to light the people in the foreground and freeze the action.
· Background is evident; subject is shimmering with some cool light. Background is most likely blurred.
· Shows a distinct point between night and day
· If there is motion in the background, you’ll get some natural blurring of those subjects.
· Realism and visual importance.
How did you get there?
· Experimenting with the camera and the functions. I found a style that I loved and went from there.
· I love the finished photograph.
· It looks dreamlike and bizarre. I love the blurred effect.
· Some effects from the photograph look like paintings/drawings (pencils)
